The Warm up has started for this years event. the weather looks great with 15-20 knots and clear skies all week.
Tell Tom to remember to keep those toes pointed and keep those signature dismounts going.
Good luck to everyone.
Dezza now I know why you call Kazza a twin .. In that photo anyway..
Ps - Any feedback from the windtech rider?
Looks like a promotional shot for Severne..
A month ago there was foil racing of Takapuna (Auckland, New Zealand) and Severne/Starboard dominated equipment.
Day three saw rain, rain and some more rain. Visibility sucked. But...the wind blew and blew and blew, providing some of the best and fastest races to date. Lots of stacks including Muzza's hospital trip due to a fin slash to the leg and blazing reaches to the line at mach speed.
Some fantastic sailing. I'd love a photo of me leaping out the water like that but I don't think I can sail that well..

last day of racing was a corker! full power blazing into the first gybe on super flat water. Well done to all who competed in the 72 heats and five one hour races. Everyone is flying home absolutely exhausted.
That's a great set of photos Paul, thank you and to the organisers and event sponsors for such a fantastic week. The wind really turned on for us!
