Thanks for sharing. Conditions looked pretty light. Were you all on 9.0s? Any issues with staying flying?

They were all on 10's. Was only 7 to 8 knots by the last few races. They were all flying most of the time.

No problem to fly with a bit of pumping

The Raceboards were faster than the RSX.

That moment when you hear that gurgle sound...

Great pics - looks significantly breezier. Any good stories? :)

Race one elapsed time:

First raceboarder: 36 min 53s
First foiler: 22 min 10s

Dead serious given how light the conditions were later on.

Raceboards/RS:X did 2 laps and Windfoils did 3 laps of windward/leeward course for races 2-7.

Results were recorded here:
results.rqys.com.au/SailBrisbane2019/series.htm

It appeared that the lead foiler finished about one lap ahead of raceboards, which roughly equates to the elapsed time difference quoted for race 1 in above post.

There also appeared to be a sizable gap between first foiler and other foilers (using same size sails and foils) in light wind, which may suggest racefoils are highly sensitive to rider weight and tuning in light winds.
