Are any masts interchangeable between brands?
I think it would be great if the bottom of the foil mast was some kind of standard like the Tuttle box is at the top!
I would be very happy if the tuttle/dt box would be standard. If you make a shaft from the original tuttle drawing i doubt it matches any actual boxes at the market without a lot of sanding

From what ive seen (admittedly not everything) the box itself seems to be very standard. The tuttle head on the other hand seems to be all manner of shapes that almost match the dimensions of the box, some of them are well and truly the wrong shape. i think i've had maybe one fin and one foil that fitted snug and flush first go.
i think just about all the manufacturers have decided on their own foil assembly designs. At least some of them have seen fit to make their own foil parts interchangeable. I think it'll be a long time (if ever) before we see a standard interchangeable design across the different parts/manufacturers.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing. At best, if the surface of the mast and fuselage is flat.
This is why I'm considering using just Starboard for all my foiling. They seem the only ones who consistently don't change fitment standards. All race/freerace windfoil stuff fits together. All wing/freeride windfoil/SUP/surf stuff fits together. And masts are compatible across everything.
Maybe the next best thing - custom masts with adapters for different fuses

thanks to utcminusfour for the heads up on this one
I just got my first one. A few people here have them and love them. Will be getting a Fanatic adaptor designed and made as I really like the HA series foils. This mast shaves 3lbs off the Fanatic mast.

I guess there is no way to use Slingshot wings on a different fuse? Wish I could get a carbon mast and use all my SS wings.

Looks like Fanatic 95l?
If so I have the same set-up with the 400 stab and Slingshot aluminium mast with adapter.
Your mast looks interesting so what have you done to get fitting at top and bottom?

You can use the Project Cedrus carbon mast with the Hover Glide fuselages. But AFAIK, there is no aftermarket fuselage that is compatible with Slingshot Hover Glide foils.

yep that's the 95l. I also have the 75l which I use more often, but this pictures was from a 6m day.
The Project Cedrus mast has a bottom adaptor to fit Moses Surf fuselages.
