Hi,

We are thinking of getting an KINGS awning for our trip up the coast. Anyone here in OZ have one of these on their roof racks and was able to fit their SUP on the roof rack as well?

Kings awning will not affect SUP as its only on one side of the vehicle. Ive also seen rhino rack awnings on a ASX that could also fit a SUP. You should measure your sup on the roof however as the roof rack fits on the end of the rack I think from memory.

The kings awning fits with angle brackets on the end of the roof racks. I dont have any issues getting boards onto my navara.

Just have to check the bolts onto the bracket wont hit the board. But you should be fine.

No issues using the bars with awning mounted.
Not a Kings, but a Rhino Rack awning on Rhino rack bars.
Awning mounts to an angle bracket that slides in to the track on the underside of the bar.
These are aero bars that stick out past the bar mount.
Haven't got the right photos, but if anything it makes tying the boards on safer as the ties down threads inside the awning bracket and can't come off the end of the bar.
