Hey team,

Just moved to Melb and wondering where the best spots to kite are. I know St Kilda has a kite beach but thats all the knowledge I possess. Am an intermediate kiter with a couple seasons under my belt, can handle myself in all conditions and particularly love a good flat water session. Any tips on where to head? And if anyone wants someone new to kite with by all means let me know.

Cowabunga.

You can kite all year in vic
Winter is the best time of year for rosebud
About an hour south of melbourne
There will be plenty of crew to hitch a ride with when its on

Awesome! I may need to add a few layers of fat to my lanky limbs to ensure I dont die of hypothermia. Keen to get involved whenever the wind is on though :)

Hey guys. New in town as well. With the SW predicted tomorrow, ya reckon St Kilda will be ok? I was thinking Mentone Beach or Rickets Point? Cheers
