Hi everyone,

I am going to Port Douglas for two weeks from this Saturday. Just wondering which forecast is best to look at for kite boarding at forecast?

i have been before and had some great days in Port Douglas. I have just felt the forecast a little unpredictable.

The one here on SBRZ is fine. Or you can check the difference between Point Cook and Cairns and make a judgement call. You'll get winds, according to today's charts.

Nahhh nah nah nahhh

F that stuff matey

Spent yeeeeaaaarrrrssss up there trying to work the bloody weathermeters out. The golden ones that did the parking in surfers were more reliable.

What you want to do is go to COASTAL WATCH check theyre love feed webcams for port and palmy etc etc and just scan for white caps. If shes on shes on.

Saved myself a fortune in fuel that little trick.

Also theres a cairns hang gliding club chgc windmeter located at rexs lookout. but old mate password protects it every now and then if theres t non local pilot who hasnt paid his fees. Just tell him your a wind bagger and should be allright

Ps
You can thank me later lofty at the usual spot on the rocks ;)
