Hey guys. Arriving Caloundra Saturday for the week. Have kited Golden Beach once a few years back but would like a session at Happy Valley. Wind looks good from Sunday and tides seem ok. Assuming outgoing tide best on a SE? Any tips re set up spot etc would be appreciated. Always like to check in with locals at new spots. 85kg rider, normally on a 10, but will throw an 8 in as well. Cheers.

All the river mouths on the coast require outgoing tide, Happy Valley in SE and Noosa or Cotton Tree in NE. Looks like SE all weekend so Golden Beach will work on the incoming tide then move to Happy Valley when it turns outgoing. Actual river current flowing out happens about 1 1/2 hour after the high tide on the beach.
