Thanks to Ocean Surf Co in Adelaide i had the chance to demo the Konrad Versa foil yesterday.
Kiting 20 years, foiling for the last 2 years on Cabrinha double agent.
15 knots on 10m wave kite.
First of all,the Konrad foil carry bag is solid and protects all components if you need to dismantle to travel.
All components are make from quality material. Didn't detect any flexs when mounted onto my board.
Must admit i was a bit concerned because the Versa looked higher aspect than the double agent. Thought it might be a harder to get up.
To my surprise it was easy to get up, probably needed one extra knot of speed.
I didn't use the small tracking fin supplied. It cranked up wind good enough for me with out it.
No problems turning - very smooth during gybes. It did drop of the plane a couple of times during a gybe but i think that was more pilot error.
Overall a nice foil and great value for your $$.
I hope to try out the Konrad flyr surf. 1296 in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Surfer,
Yeah it looks the same and have read the review before.
I tried out the Konrad 1296 surf foil yesterday. Loved it that much i bought it on the spot.
Both foils work but the surf foil is best suited to were i foil. (waves and mowing the the lawn).
Yeah love this retirement gig. Should of started it earlier.
Can't wait for the boarders to open so we can do the greg nomad thing.

Hi Eddie,
Erica is loving having me home. Earnt heaps of brownie points since shutdown. No doubt I'll use them when borders open up!!
Pretty impressed with Konrad gear! Poor old Cabrinha is hanging up in the shed. Will become the Bali foil for everyone to use.
Bloody cold here, only 11 today, that would bring back some fond memories of Turkey Heath.
