hi seabreezer,s

i am still a kiting newbie, I had great day on the water on the weekend and now fully amped up for kiting. Was a windsurfer for 25 years or so but there is no going back now.

at the moment I have a 12m Naismith bolt, and want to get a 9m kite. To extend my upper wind range.
i don't have a big budget for this kite would prefer to go for more expensive gear once I am more experienced. Looking to spend like 500-700 on kite and bar. Lots of kites in this price range are circa 2013/2014. Eg north rebel 2013, Naish park 2012, cabrinha vector 2013, any of these in good condition worth getting into or should I spend more and get something like a recent naish pivot?

i did my lessons on a cabrina vectors I liked the bar system but didn't love the feel of the kite, I like the way my bolt sits more forward in the wind window and wants to accelerate. If I can get up to mowing the lawn I'll be happy and then move up in gear spec.

cheers chris
