Guy tried both at lengths
Tearaid and new Stormsure Tape.
both similar price.
Stormsure tape isnt as sticky or come close.
doesnt feel as flexible either.
cant talk about UV
stormsure tape is said to be able to be used on bladders and canopies.
Ill stick to Tearaid A on my bladders (flexible) and Tearaid B for canopies (full Uv protection ,not so fexible)
Just had my leading edge bitten by an irresponsible dog owner's dog. Two small holes which look like they could be covered with tape.
Don't have tearaid or stormsure, but have plastic (?) patches that come in some repair kits. What glue is suitable as a substitute to stormsure?
Some useful info here. Tried using shoe glue seems to ond with the latex well. Wait and see.

Tear Aid only for bladders, and StormSure "tufftape" for canopy holes, clean the area with alcohol swabs thoroughly.
Any nicks and cuts on the leading edge tube or struts, get it sewn, there is no tape that will fix a cut on the LE permanently.
Plastic sticky patch from repair kit collection and shoe glue which seems to melt into latex, Ok on low pressure testing.
Having LE bite holes sown up by sailmaker.
Interesting to notice - lots of sand inside bladder and a lot of wear marks from LE stitches (this is a 2019 ex-demo kite!). Also bladder had become attached to sticky inside of zip leaving marks on it.
All good Fernando. Bladder holds air fine. If I wanted to pay someone to do it and wait 10 weeks then I would have not even bothered to read these forums.

Hey peahi,
No stress to me. Some people prefer to fix their own stuff, more power to them. Just wanted to chip in, that no one has to wait 10 weeks with my service. Even at peak season. Occasionally, with a huge repair, i may ask a customer to be patient till my work load slows, and then I reward thier patience with discount.
Cheers,
Adam

Sure thing, I like fixing things myself. it was two dog bite holes about 1mm each so not a major repair. I got a local sailmaker to sew a patch the LE, I put the bladder back in pumped it up, bladder not twisted first go, a 2 day turnaround.
The 10 weeks exaggeration of slowness of interstate postage atm, I was not referring to your service.
