What is going on out there, Rottnest graph showing 50+ knots gusts from the North one minute, 50+ knots gusts from the South the next, yep a little bit unpredictable.

I was hoping it was going to switch to a NW. I'm going to check out the conditions at rocko foreshore should be right angle for NE to N. Anyone else heading out?

go for it young man. looked a bit wild, just had a look. agree a bit more NW and that opens up better options.

That rottnest graph is spooky! Didn't seem to be doing any of that nonsense at Leighton, maybe shifting +/- 15 to 20 degrees not 180!

Mental strength then change in direction. How's rotto, peaks and changes, stays strong southerly while the rest have stayed strong northerly. Busted by mega peak?

I think the rottnest wind reader is broken

I went out leighton about 4 it was side shore with a tiny touch offshore really good waves (for leighton) it looked epic but then put the kite up and it was really patchy
did a few tacks caught a wave, got smashed dropped the kite, broke the kite, cleaned up the mess then the wind dropped off completely

you are a tricky tricky b**ch winter

So everywhere else in perth metro is blowing its tits off and no wind in east freo wind meters never play up
