so just went down to use my just bought second hand 2014 north dice.... but my airush pump with a bunch of connections didn't fit... do these north kites need a north specific pump.., or is there another that might work that has that connection???? Any advice from anyone in the know here would be much appreciated! Cheers Mike

Hi mate, they sure do. It's like the core fitting.
Fix my kite makes one that adapts to your current setup for 5.00
Maybe Ryan the sail doctor has one in stock. Give him a call.

Try just your hose without any nozzles attached. Some hoses work fine with Core valves which are supposed to be very similar to the North valves.

my 09 switchblade has that.. given i only use it twice a year as its a larger kite, i always loose that bloody connection. I have had many pissed off drives back home!
why anyone would still use that in a new kite blows me away.

Reason I have this is I had 3 euros from holland call in my cafe, they come for a Kite adventure holiday, without this nozzle as one thought his slingshot would fit, me and a local fixed them up , they'd of been ****** without, he said they had 2014 Neos and dices,

2013 was the year they started using those valves. I've found that North pumps have the best fit, used a WMFG pump once on a 2014 Rebel, couldn't get a good seal for pumping, but managed to get enough air in it. The core connector looks the same but is a slightly different size.

I started a forum same question a couple of months ago got one from fix my kite website $8. But any of the old style pump hoses work good to without any adaptors attached.
