Um.... fishpole the bar when ready to waterstart and bob's your Aunty. Job done.

I depending on how underpowered keep poling. I do enjoy a figure 8 loop on infinity loop for ****s and giggles.

PS Its all ****s and giggles until someone giggles and ****s.

I've found a down loop from the opposite side works well on the twin tip. To try explain: if I'm wanting to go to the right I down loop from about 11:30 which takes the kite down and horizontally through the power window from left to right. Still take off with right foot forward and head down wind following the kite to pick up board speed before starting to edge upwind.

One of the greatest skills atm is to go kiting and not get pinged

Thank you...
Here was why I am asking as ..
around the 1 and 2+ minute mark as examples - its windy its a small kite but he is not getting yanked...
I need to optimise for the yank without having to concentrate too much on the kite as I am in the wave zone in a gutter looking to KA ss...
I can't afford to get turned - = run aground, just not had the opportunity to use small kite yet...
I find when foiling once up the virtual wind can top the bigger kites wind range quickly ...
Regardless enjoy the uber talented Greg again..
Cheers

Just go out underpowered. Say 20 knots on a 4m. Loop to your hearts content,

When underpowered you can loop at any time anywhere in the window and it doesnt matter.

PS the loops at 2.30 are pivot loops. You can do them in any level of poweredness as long as you are running downwind.

20 knts????... Mostly 8+ knots.. Lots of shi..ts not much beyond pleeps if recorded
But easter Sunday.. Finally got out.. first time this year.. Winged it on 8m LEI.. I'm not fully fit to swim in with foil kite yet It is so easy to get 2 + kms out when foiling..
Might Chuck a video if it proves worth watching .. Open beach 6-8 seconds wave period.. autumn winds getting light..
A fair few out having an xcercising stretch.. 10m-14m kites just lapping it.. Saturday locally was offshore all day surfers where spread out over kms as far as I could see.
Cheers

Saturday had a fair bit of westerly in it but saw one guy out on Flysurfer Soul and foil board, nice chap, had a chat to him from a respectable distance while he was setting up.
He was kiting on the Spit at Mooloolaba, wind is onshore there during a NW, seems like a pretty good spot in this wind but not sure on the regulation regarding kite surfing in this area, can you shed any light AP?
Previously I've had to head to Inskip in a westerly.

When I did the seqld guide.. There were assumptions.. In a few areas.. One of them is there..
So 3 sets of flags short section on a v. Popular beach..

But the public interest and popularity is very focused on being a sheltered beach.. So no good for wind sports then..

So access limits on map reflects locals knowledge.. Commonsense required.. Normally usable wind there meant no public. No kids swimming.. Beach empty.. Foiling probably has changed that..

So windsurfing their when stormy waves and wind hitting side on OR front on just epic.. Same for kites. Same for surf and paddle boards..

Now with wingdings being a gamechanger for handling turbulence.. With foil combo.. Would be most obvious..
Current thinking is waves along there are notouriosly dumping.. Alot of spinals for SLSC..
So any one wanting to foil on anything is riding in the bay ..
Access .. Don't know.. For kites it requires way less people 2 SUP and windsurfing.. Due to lines.. It works at Cotton tree.. And Caloundra.. There.. Not so confident...
