I'm heading to Mauritius for a few weeks in June & I was thinking about getting a few sessions of coaching so am looking for recommendations. Currently I'm ok with jumps, back & front rolls & dark slides but I'd like to add in some inversions, hand washes, and loops. Plus would be good to hire a strapless surfboard at some stage to work on my turns. Will be happy enough kiting with our crew & doing the YouTube thing & videoing each other, but would be good to hear if anyone has had a good (or bad) experiences in case we fancy some real coaching. TIA.

Contact Mike Walker.

He is based at the Riu Creole Hotel Le Morne

His business back home is Kitethrills and he is on Mauritius with clients the next eight weeks.

I was just there for two weeks and the lagoon for twin tips and reefs at Le Morne (Manawa and One Eye) awesome.

Mike has access to plenty of locals that can help and there are Euros at the lagoon all giving lessons.

I don't want to give Mike's mobile but the Hotel or his Kitethrills website will provide a contact I am pretty sure.

Hope this helps.
