Next time you buy some sunscreen it is worth considering getting the suff that isn't toxic to coral reefs and the marine ecosystem.
Hawaii recently banned the sale of sunscreens that contain oxybenzone and octinoxate.

The surf mud brand mentioned previously is a winner for the environment

yep, i was told id be in trouble skin wise if i left it, it basically removes a layer of skin, seriously uncomfortable during the process of activation, like having a blowtourch applied and someone nailing pins in your head, this is the procedure
description of treatment
2 weeks of skin repair cream
booking to clense skin and apply cream to area
1 hour incubation period in dark room
3 hour acctivation in full sunlight
complete wash off
24 hrs in dark room. no tv , phones, any kind of light
look in mirrror ARGHHHHHH WHOS THAT FREAK ME DEAD , big swolen bright red dial
next 6/7 days deminishing redness and your face falls off
skin is blemish free no marks , crusty skin , red sun spots , like new
cost is $350 but my whole head needed doing, cost me $600 all up plus $70 for skin repair cream for 2 weeks
The treatment is called photo dynamic treatment,

Whilst sunscreen is the least of the corals worries, the surf mud actually works very well. Sticks like sh1t to a blanket.
