Hey kiters,

just looking at planning a kiting trip out of Sydney from the end of December into January and keen to get some suggestions on best spots to go where there's likely to be consistent wind.

I was thinking one of the Pacific islands but reading mixed things about the wind at that time of the year.

Western Australia sounds like it's pretty consistent but was hoping to pick somewhere a bit more exotic!

S.E Asia such as the Philippines was the other one I was considering.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Guess it boils down to tropical paradise or amazing kitesurfing all day everyday (WA). Honestly WA isn't bad. Has some of the best beaches and best wind in the world. There's so many spots to go to. Would definitely recommend starting up north in Exmouth and working your way down. One thing I can say is you'll be absolutely knackered after the trip

Plummet will probably say NZ, which though I've never been there (for kiting) sounds like a good option, I'm considering it myself.. It's only what 3 hours away.
