New Slingshot bar is a clone, but in black ... in case you don't like white.

there was a thread in gear reviews and CRX and flysurfer do one as well not sure on the thickness

After having several different brands of bars I decided Ozone was the design I liked most, based on the effectiveness and reliability of their safety systems and the low V configuration. For me auto untwist systems on Core/Flysurfer type bars always seemed over engineered and unnecessary. I've subsequently never owned that type of bar but most people seem happy with that setup. I find that my Ozone bar auto untwists at least 70% of the time anyway.

Man, I loop the kite a lot in every session. I have never had an issue with untwisting the center lines. I try and loop in both directions for whatever I am trying to achieve whether in a jump or transition or down the line wave riding etc. The "newish" Ozone bar is really quite easy to untwist. I have finally relegated my 4 year old bar to the back up stage and have the latest bar. It's simple, it works, and if I get four years or more out of this I am happy. I don't want to complicate what should be a simple system.

I started with IDS bars that couldn't be twisted, add some Infinity bars and now have to manually untwist my Cabrinha 1X bars... It's a bloody nuisance and I'm eyeing up Click bar or another Infinity, but my OCD works bug me if I the bar didn't match the kite :D

The only difference in the systems is the twin depower rope and a splitter in the bar.

click bar is perfect for LEI kites ..use it low V and don't CLICK, yes click system is the worst feature and I try not use depower during the session but the depower length is one of the longest so you don't need it anyway...
for foil kites its Ozone new bar ..simple and can change all parts easily...good service

I mainly only loop in one direction. It never untwists. I love the bar but just want that one thing.

Wind changes so much here I often go from full trim to fully out in a single tack. Having to crank it got annoying when I demoed one...

Maybe keep the best bar on the market and learn to loop both directions....just a thought

Back roll kiteloop transition = no twist
Front roll downloop transition = no twist
Etc....

.... Boost with kiteloop followed by back roll with no loop when traveling in opposition direction = untwisted lines

Lol. Not about to do any of that stuff. Ive fractured my L1 vertebrae and landing on it again would probably put me in a wheel chair.

Hey Oscar, how long were you off kiting?
Fractured L3 & L4 about 11 weeks ago, one of the columns on L4 has wedge shaped compression fracture 40% loss of height. Been doing Physio for 2 weeks and feeling strong. Ortho thinks I could start mowing the lawn in another month or so but no jumping yet. Keen to recovery period and return to normal kiting of other kiters.......
