Never had many / any issues with my kites so looking for advice. This happened today while I was pumping up at the beach...

Ozone Enduro v1 centre strut. Was annoyed - would have been first session in 2 months. At least it happened on the beach and 2 weeks before holidays where I'm hoping to kite several days.

From my quick bit of research I can attempt to glue a new valve to current bladder or buy a new bladder kit?

We will replace that bladder under warranty.
Please send me your kite serial number, which part is broken - valve on LE or strut?
send to steve@ozonekites.com.au

this must be the most cost effective advertising available.

After sale service like this makes me value new or used ozone kites above than any other brand.

I've been in contact and new strut bladder is going to be posted.

The response from Steve certainly turned my day around after the disappointment at the beach. I was expecting to fork out for a new bladder set or have a crack at doing my own shoddy repair job.

Happy days

Just recently had exactly the same thing happen to one of the struts in my 2016 edge 11m. I bought a tube of aquaseal and stuck back together and bead around break. flown it once so far so good.

Steve has jumped to my rescue also.
I've flown ozone for quite a few years now C4 s, zyphers and 2 models of edges and never had any problems until this one.
Possibly a rare twist or a bit rough on packing up and has been used quite a bit.
I definitely haven't heard of any other brands offering this kind of service.
Awesome kites and Awesome service

The closer to the equator you live, the worse the problem with bladder/valve adhesion seems to be... all brands.

Had a similiar problem with nearly every valve on my wainman rabbits, Sent wainman 3 emails. Never heard back from them. Ended up getting some rubber adhesive and sticking them back together. one of the connections from leading edge to strut wouldn't bond so I just taped over the hole and pump the strut up through its tube and click the clamp. bodgey but it works. Next kites are ozones.

In this case, the valve hasn't delaminated. I have yet to see a valve delaminated on an OZONE. From time to time IV seen a nipple snap off of the bladder like here. Each time Ozone has replaced the bladder strait away. They are super on it when there is any warranty case.
Duotone/old north have been really good for a long time too. Iv only see snapped valves from time to time there aswell. They seem to escape the harsh climate. Still, number one rule should be avoid long stays in hot cars
