Hi,
I have the possibilty to buy a nearly new 6m 2015 bws noise pro for Pretty cheap without bar.
I only do kitesurfing strapless in smaller waves (up to head high) and a Little bit of Jumping and haven't had any bws kites in the Hand.
What are your experiences with this kite. There are not a lot of Reviews out there.
And one last Question: How is the compability with slingshot bars? Any experiences?
Many thanks for all Input.
no worries with a slingy bar - you might just have to swap the pigtails around if they don't match up.
the valve glue on noise kites is renowned for failing. check the kite really carefully for leaks. other than that it's a decent kite for down the line drift riding and good wind range, especially bottom end

Did you try the noise pro? Good wind range in the bottom end means for you that 6m is 6m or maybe even 7m, but not 5m, right?
Any other comments on the noise pro compared to maybe other surf specialised kites (sst or reo) ?

yep, i had 2012 6 and 10m noise and 2014 6m and 8m noise pro. and yep that's what good bottom end means. it performs more like a 7, and i reckon it is actually a 7m kite in terms of area. just branded as a 6
i'm not going to get into comparisons with other kites because everyone has a different opinion on what makes a good kite and what suits their riding style and conditions, and other than bws the only 'surf specific' kites i've tried are drifters and reos
Do you think riding the noise pro with my slingy bar does change the characteristics and behaviour of the kite a lot? The slingy bar has a low V and rather long depower possibilty.
I have had bws Kites and I think they are good, I never had a problem with my 2014 noise pro 10m and I have still have a 6m bws noise original which I did a solid 3.5 years as my most used kite, kiting year round. I have now retired it because it's a bit tired but I would still trust it in a solid surf session.
I find them to be sturdy and reliable kites, smooth and predictable with good drift, so yes if you are getting a bargain on one then go for it!
Does anybody have a comparison with this 2015 noise pro and more modern wave kites like the newer sst, reo, drifter or section?
Is there a significant performance difference?
Basically the Noise Pro drifted very well as it sat far back in the window, but at the expense of staying upwind. In many ways like a Reo but not as balanced being a few years older. The noise Pro was light years above the first Noise. But anything that is older just check how it was cared for because anything over 3 years old I'd get nervous about the bladders.
Concerning the sizes, what are your experiences, are they true or did you realize that they are a Little bigger or smaller than what is written on it?
I've got a 6m noise. Yeah it's probably more like a 7m in terms of its actual size and power. Like was said it's got great drift and suffers a bit upwind - a pure wave kite as they say . I use it from 22 knots plus ( 80kg rider) as a guide. No problems with any standard 4 line bar.
They are a great value option for waves for sure imho.
I've got a 6m Noise pro and have only used it on WA trip as its really small for my weight. I reckon its an awesome little kite especially when its really honking and you want it to behave. Supersteady through gusts and drifts really well. I was using it with BWS Aneema 8m which is a great kite and a 10m Noise pro which is a bit of a pig - bit trucky.
I just got new Cab drifters in 8m and 10m (2018). Have only flown the 10 but its super responsive, turns fast, good drift and seems to have plenty of power and also jumps pretty well surprisingly for a wave kite.

Hi,
I wanted to use the kite with slingshot bar. All 4 lines are equally long when fully powered with the bar and adjuster completely loose (full power on).
Is the original bws undertow bar the same. Unfortunately I have no comparison bar here.

Hwy pampel, a BWS kite will fly juwt right on an equal line set up.

The Noise (classic, 5 strut) were known for flying way over their size but I personelly found the Noise Pro(3 strut) to fly accurate to their size.

Are you talking about the noise pro 2014 or 2015? A lot of peoople think the 2015 is a little bigger in size. But anyway, the most important is that my slingy bar will work and does not change the kites former characteristics.
Btw, did somebody flew both, the slingy sst and 2015 noise pro and can compare?
