Hi guys,

Just got a 2nd hand foil, but have no idea what it is. It's a full carbon one, 98cm mast from bottom of fuselage to top of plate, or 101cm from floor level to top of plate. Front wing is 11 x 61.5cm and back is 6.8 x 37.5cm.
Any idea of what it can be?

Cheers

Hmm not sure but it looks fast, a cross between a ghost whisper and a crazy fly.

Might be. I bought it from someone that also doesn't anything about it, but it was cheap, 300 dollars with a TT adapted.

I think it may be a Taaroa Sword... one piece mast/fuselage, though the front wing shape is different.... I it may be a home made copy of sorts. Either way it looks nice.

It's a really high aspect foil.
It has Anhedral and dihedral wings so it should fly nice.

Ghost whisper-Crazyfly are the same foils...made by moses. And this doesn't look anything like it....

The front and rear wing look like spotz 2 for sure maybe someone has modified a group of foils to make this one

Thanks for the answers. Some models like the ghost whisperer don't look too far from it, but still couldn't find another one like this foil. Maybe it's a prototype.

Its an unbranded Chinese foil

www.aliexpress.com/item/32823752639.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.26.533f6e0cUdtDiR

I rode one for a year and it was great. The mast and the base plate aren't connected when it first arrives so that you can cut it to a different length. Only thing is that it developed a really loud whistling sound after a couple of bumps to the wing.

Legend!!!
Thanks bro, at least now I know what I have!
I'll call it UCF (Unbranded Chinese Foil), sounds better.
Still didn't manage to proper use it, so can't say anything about the whistling.
Cheers

I measured my wings and found out that the front one is approximately 604 sqr cm and the back one is 237.
Wings sizes are 64.5cm x 11.1 (front one) and 37.7 x 7.0 (back one).

Comparing with other brands, this is a high aspect ratio wing, with a 1m mast. Mast, fuselage and wings are carbon fiber.

I've been riding this foil with a twintip board, with has some flex, so I'm considering to get a solid board. I'm still struggling to ride this thing, so I'm also considering cutting the mast to maybe 70cm. So the question is:

1 - would a smaller mast really help me?
and
2 - can I use this foil to surf as well? In this case, would 70cm be better than 1m? I don't think I ever saw anyone surfing with long masts.

Cheers guys
